Formika acted as the operator of events in the Russian pavilion dedicated to the International Children's Day.
International Children's Day was celebrated in June, 1 at the Expo 2010.Organizers and participants tried to make this holiday unforgettable for the young guests of the EXPO park. National and thematic pavilions prepared festive events dedicated to this day. A complex of events devoted to the problems of future generation upbringing was held in Russian pavilion. And a program for young visitors of the pavilion was prepared. In May, 31 the Public Chamber of Russian Federation organized presentation of the humanitarian program "Childhood", aiming at forming a new view of childhood, according to which the child is a full participant of public relations.
On Children's Day a tripartite teleconference "EXPO-2010: childhood through the prism of the city" between Moscow, St. Petersburg and Shanghai was organized. Its participants discussed current issues of child upbringing and of humanitarian program "Childhood", they put forward proposals for establishment of the International Plan of actions for Childhood.
For young visitors of the Russian pavilion organizers held an action "Together we draw the future." Children from Russia, the winners of the All-Russian drawing contest "City of the Future by Children's Eyes" whose illustrations formed the basis for installation on the first level of the pavilion, and children from China – students from Shanghai school of foreign languages - drew together the city of the future.
Chinese students also demonstrated their skills of body painting. The most popular images were flags of Russia and China, as well as the inscriptions "Russia" and "China." Every child who visited Russian pavilion on this day got present and a lot of positive emotions. Pavilion of Russia is very popular among young visitors due to the fact that the decorations and the exposition of the exhibition complex are designed for the future generation.
