Exposition of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District attracted attention of not only visitors, but also of business partners
Exposition of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District is one of the projects of Formika at EXPO 2010. Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District became the first Russian region to demonstrate its capabilities at EXPO 2010 in Shanghai.The region, which has the leading position in Russia in hydrocarbon reserves, especially oil and natural gas, introduced its investment projects related to the development priorities of the region. Yamal is ready to offer Chinese partners participation in implementation of innovative, high-tech and knowledge-intensive projects. Investors from China can rely on a mutually beneficial and constructive cooperation in areas such as hydrocarbons and minerals, the Northern Sea Route, agriculture, innovation and science.
Region also prepared a thematic exhibition for visitors of Russian pavilion, demonstrating peculiarities of the district, and an exhibition of artefacts and national handicrafts. Mini-workshop in which master creates works of art from bone attracts great attention of visitors.
