Exposition of the Republic of Sakha tells about the wonderful world of the Far North and the ways of survival in it
On Monday, September 6th, exposition of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) under the slogan "Land Olonkho. Eternal and contemporary together" opens in the Russian pavilion.Olonkho is an ancient epic art of Yakuts, which creates a colorful and harmonious picture of the universe, filled with many meanings. Olonkho binds together the people and the world around them, helps to understand the nature of man.
As part of the exhibition, visitors can see the amazing culture of the peoples of Yakutia, feel the harmony of their existence, learn about the amazing and harsh nature of this region. In the exposition tower recreates the atmosphere of Yakutia, its past, present and future. The dominant theme is an innovative project for tourism and recreation park Olonkholand, this is a comfortable settlement in permafrost conditions. Constructed using new technologies of life support in extreme cold, the complex will provide its residents all the conditions for healthy living and self-actualization, and the use of cosmological ideas Olonkho brings to the project traditionally cautious attitude to the environment and the harmony of co-existence of nature and man.
The atmosphere of harmony and magic supplement the exhibits provided by the treasure-house of the Republic of Sakha. Handicrafts, samples of minerals, unique carved ivory, gold bullion unusual shapes, Yakut diamonds and obtained from them excellent diamonds are placed in special display cases, made in the form of natural crystals.
The exhibition will be open to visitors for two weeks, and on September 22 in the pavilion will be the Day of the Republic of Sakha. There will be the performances by the creative teams of the Republic, the business meetings and negotiations, the signing of cooperation documents between the Yakut side and Chinese partners.
Developing the concept exposition of the Republic of Sakha, its preparation and implementation is one of the projects of Formika under EXPO.
